Someone on IRC was looking for this feature:
> I am wondering if I need to gdalwrap before I import, or if raster2pgsql
-s parameter does the reprojection
On closer inspection of raster2pgsql, I'm not see a transform option,
though we have such a feature for shp2pgsql and we have an ST_Transform
for raster.
Doesn't seem like it should be too hard to offer this, since raster2pgsql
has gdal goodness baked into it.
