Comment:

 Since this issue fixes problems when
 ''ST_RemoveIrrelevantPointsForView()'' is applied to non-cartesian (non-
 projected) coordinates I changed this ticket to type ''defect''.

 **This fix should be part of Postgis 3.5.0** which introduces
 ''ST_RemoveIrrelevantPointsForView()''.
