#5753: PostgreSQL v17 has branched, so 7e62e02ba0 has become obsolete
--------------------------+---------------------------
Reporter: Laurenz Albe | Owner: pramsey
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: low | Milestone: PostGIS 3.4.3
Component: postgis | Version: 3.4.x
Keywords: JSON v18 |
--------------------------+---------------------------
`POSTGIS_PGSQL_VERSION` is 180 now that PostgreSQL v17 has branched, so
building PostGIS with PostgreSQL head fails.
We need a patch like the attached.
I briefly looked at this, and there is some code duplication with
PostgreSQL (`JsonTypeCategory`, `datum_to_json`, ...). Is the reason
backward compatibility for building with older PostgreSQL versions?
