 Actually, I was wrong: 3.5.3 also crashes (I was running the old GML test,
 it does crash with the one from the master branch). But as of commit
 [5591de3dd3fcf839765528a277d013738f7b7eb6/git] the 3.5 branch doesn't
 crash anymore, not even on upgrade from 3.4.5dev
