 Newer PostGIS version ( 3.7.0dev 3.6.0rc2-398-gcf949fa33 ) throws a
 different exception, which also contains location info:

 > ERROR:  Spatial exception - geometry intersects edge 673 at
 POINT(20.8678219077647 69.3134366022891)

 The following screenshot from QGIS shows the situation. The reported
 intersection point is at the leftmost edge of the almost-coincident lines
 (black is the edge, green is the incoming, stars are start/end vertices of
 the two, there's no way to visually spot the vertex which is ONLY in the
 edge but not in the incoming).
