This stuff is looking good. I assume the problems I had at first loading
the postgis.sql was related to file format or something, the one Steffen
referenced works great!
Can anyone give some guidance on running pgsql2shp/shp2pgsql in windows?
Anyone else getting consistent results with those tools?

Please respond to postgis-users
In Addition,
peerdirect was so kind to provide me with a matching postgis.dll and
postgis.sql
You can download them from
http://dcwaterdesign.sourceforge.net/postgis.zip
( I haven't got time to test these with the second beta, but I expect
them to work.)
They are doing a survey on people who have tested the beta, if you're
interested,
contact me or Mike Furgal (mikef at peerdirect.com)

There is a new release of the Windows Beta of Postgres. This
new version fixes:
- Reliability Issues
- Performance Issues
You can get the new version from:
ftp://209.61.187.152/multera/postgres_beta2.zip
You should be able to install this and run it with your existing
data directory from the previous version of the Beta (not with
the Cygwin version).
Please report problems to postgres-beta at multera.com.
Soon I'll be sending out a short survey to see how your testing
is going.
Thanks....
....MikeF
P.S. We have changed the name of our company to PeerDirect. This
does not affect how email is sent, so both postgres-beta at multera.com
and postgres-beta at peerdirect.com go to the same place.
