[postgis-users] PostgreSQL 7.3 Improvements?

Better index usage can be obtained by enabling Dave's selectivity
system, which is also in the CVS.
The biggest 7.3 change was in the area of "manageability", as schema
support was added. This makes larger multi-user sites easier for DBAs to
manage.
It also raises some interesting PostGIS issues. By default, PostGIS
installs into the current schema. But maybe it should make its own
schema, or install into the system schema. The current setup is simplest
to understand, but long term manageability might be improved by using a
separate schema. Any expert DBA comments would be useful.
