[postgis-users] Intersection of objects

There is a library scot_gpc, that provides some more functions, that has 
been discussed on this list, and implemented by a few of us.

It doesn't provide all of the OpenGIS geoprocessing functions, but makes 
good progress towards that.

If you are unable to locate it, I can email you my distro and function 
declarations.
