Hello Jaromir,
see
http://gborg.postgresql.org/project/psqlodbc/projdisplay.php
for a postgresql odbc-driver.
Having configured an odbc-connection for your postgis-database you can e.g.
load your postgis-tables into an access-database. With VB-applications via
the odbc-connection you can easily read/write postgis data from windows
using the adodb-library.
I hope this helps,
regards,
Christina

Betreff: [postgis-users] Windows application communicating with PostGIS?
Hello,
How can strings be sent to (and retrieved from) PostGIS, which runs on a
Linux server, from a Windows application? Both Linux and Windows computers
are networked. Using ODBC driver? Then how?
I am new to PostGIS.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated!
