[postgis-users] network creation and network operations

Hi,

I have read in the TODO list of 2003/10/20 and on
http://postgis.refractions.net/ that the future PostGIS projects
includes, among other things, "network creation and network operations"
like least cost path calculations. My question is:
Do such applications exist for PostGIS?
And if yes, what precisely are
their input/output? Which formats do they support? Where can I get more
information?
If there aren't such tools yet, what would be the delay in developping
these?
