[postgis-users] source and CVS

I am having troubles with the installation of postgis.

'Make' complains that paths to source are not present
when I try making the downloads on the postgis downloads web page.
The directories are in fact missing from the tar balls there.

I then tried to log into the CVS address provided on the page
thinking that this would be the place to get compilable source.
cvs returns an error that the password 'cvs' is not accepted by the
server.

Is the CVS open?
