[postgis-users] postgres issue solved.

i looked at the make file and it appeared to be trying to select the
correct version for postgresql but was unable to and perhaps defaulted
to a prevoius version of 7.2 (i am running 7.4.2). i commented out this
selection process and kept the USE_VERSION=74 and it worked. 

after reading the docs at http://www.postgis.com/docs/x83.html#AEN158 it
became all too clear what was happening.
