[postgis-users] problem with shp2pgsql

About the error "shape null" after using shp2pgsql, here are some details:

my os is red hat 9, my shapefiles are in /home/postgres, shp2pgsql (version 0.7)
is in home/postgres/postgres-7.4.3/contrib/postgis-0.8.1/loader.

Is it that somehow shp2pgsql was not properly installed during the installation
of postgis?
