[postgis-users] How to determine whether a view's geometry column is indexed?

Is there any way to find out whether a geometry column that's used in a view is indexed?
I can find out whether a table's geometry column is indexed by going through the pg_class, pg_attribute and pg_index system catalogs. But I haven't been able to extend that method to views.
 
Any help?
