[postgis-users] library loading error

Greetings,

I have compiled postgresql 8.0beta5, geos2.0.1, proj 4.4.9, and postgis
form cvs (11/26) successfully on Fedora Core 3.

I have loaded a number or datasets into the database (sample lidar
points) and run gist, viewed with jump, etc without a problem.

After a round of Up2Date updates however, this morning I have received
the following error:

ERROR:  could not load library "/usr/local/pgsql/lib/liblwgeom.so.1.0":
libgeos.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

This occurs any time I try to select or operate on any table with
geometry.

I tried ldconfig /usr/local/pgsql/lib/, and i have $LD_LIBRARY_PATH = 
/usr/local/pgsql/lib/ in my master startup profile.  Despite this, it 
still throws the error.

Any ideas?
