[postgis-users] geocoder

I know of geocoder.us.  As of now, geocoder.us only works for tiger data
(not exactly the worlds greatest roads data).  I have already built another
dataset specific geocoder using a combination of postgresql queries and php
text processing.  What I would like to create is a set of functions so that
you could just use a query on an address string within postgis on any
dataset.  Somehow, there would have to be a way to set up correct indices
and determine which fields are what part of the address -- ideally this
geocoder should even work with addressed parcel data.
