[postgis-users] OT: shapes of time zones?

hi,

is anybody aware of publicly availably shape files of time zones? I'm trying 
to display UTC timestamps on geometries in the timezone "local" to the 
geometry..

(I'm aware that daylight savings time might make this even more complicated)

any advice appreciated,
