Hi Sergey,

Well that's not necessarily true; in my mind I wouldn't like to start mixing
SRIDs in a raw geometry column, and would probably incorporate the
workaround into a view so that the workaround would be transparent to the
users.

However the list has plenty of other subscribers/developers, so don't feel
that just one opinion would prevent discussion of the issue, or a patch
being developed (see my previous email to the list).
