[postgis-users] shp2pgsql 8.0.4 problems

Hi all,

We upgraded to 8.0.4 and are having a problem loading some files that we 
loaded in the past without a problem.

/usr/local/pgsql/bin/shp2pgsql MtdRef mtdref
  Shapefile contains 2446 NULL object(s)

Basically this file is really just a DBF table of metadata and each row 
has a null shape associated with it. These files loaded on previous 
versions but now generate this error.

Did something change on 8.0.4 in this regards?
How do I load a file like this is this is not the best way?
Is there an option to load just the DBF file that I missed?
