[postgis-users] PostGIS and Mapserver

strange?

if U can connect to postgresql locally by doing (without ssh!)

psql -d db1 -U postgres -h myserver.mydomain

and

by ssh


psql db1

it means that TCP/IP are allowed!


did U succeed by ssh connection to find pg_ctl by doing

which pg_ctl

then do

to find where is postgresql.conf doing

psql -d template1 -c "show data_directory"

then
replace

listen_adresses = 'localhost' by listen_adresses = '*'

then

`which pg_ctl` restart
