[postgis-users] syntax for dsn

Hello all

I have a very simple question to ask.
What is the syntax of mentioning dsn connection.

User name: postgres
Password:123456
host name:localhost
Db name:maps

Is this correct?
dsn = pgsql://postgres:123456@localhost:5432/maps
