Hi,

Just a FYI: I just submitted PostGIS to Fedora Core Extras for review:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=220743
http://people.planetpostgresql.org/devrim/index.php?/archives/74-Submitted-PostGIS-to-Fedora-Extras-for-review.html

I added two temporary patches to spec file. If you want to review these,
please visit:

http://developer.postgresql.org/~devrim/rpms/other/postgis/postgis-configure.patch
http://developer.postgresql.org/~devrim/rpms/other/postgis/postgis-javamakefile.patch

Over the last 2-3 months, I pushed 4 PostgreSQL related packages into
distribution:

* pgfouine
* phpPgAdmin
* postgresql-pgpool
* python-psycopg2

I also have some more packages like Slony-I and dbi-link that are
waiting for approval. PostGIS is a very important component of this set.

Please check the spec file and report me if you can see any build
problems. The spec file and srpm builds cleanly on my FC6 box, BTW.

Regards,
