Before I start adding stuff here, is there anywhere I can read up on any
projects looking at adding/creating a topological spatial data storage system?

I've seen occasional mentions of such work from Refractions, and would like to
see more topological support in PostGIS (though this may not be straightforward
under the SFS model).
