[postgis-users] PostgreSQL/PostGIS vs. Oracle

Hey all,
I'm looking for some information about the performance of
PostgreSQL/PostGIS vs. Oracle.

So at first some background information. I will store about
500.000.000 triangles, about 200.000 buildings LoD 2 (CityGML),....
You can say everything you need for an good citymodell ;)

I need some information about the performance. So what kind of
computer I need and so on. Especially which DBMS will be faster.

I hope you can help me! Is there maybe someone who is using
PostgreSQL/PostGIS for some similar things?
