Hi Robert,
I have prepared these demo for the company I work. The problem was to draw
thousands of geo point over gmaps satellite.
Take a look to the demo and tell me if this is what you need:
http://maps.treuropa.com (Naples or Palo Alto).
I have tried many projection to fit gmaps, but at the end I have used the
Mercator implemented by myself.. if you need I could give you some advice.
