[postgis-users] unable to install PostGIS -1.2.1 on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn version

Hi Tahir

the postgis wiki about ubuntu is old

If  the following command

apt-cache show libgeos-dev|grep Version

send you something like 2.1.4.2 < 2.2.X

You should install geos using the source
First remove geos i.e libgeos or libgeos-dev

Since you understand french..
