[postgis-users] status of topology support in postgis

Hi postgis users,

What is the status of topology support in PostGIS? Under the topology 
directory in the postgis source, there is only code in the test directory.

Reading the wiki site 
(http://postgis.refractions.net/support/wiki/index.php?PostgisTopology), it 
is not clear to me if someone is working on it or if it is a project that has 
been started some time ago and has fallen asleep.
