Despite the preference expressed here for OpenJump, which does work well, I have found alternatives like GVSIG & QGIS to be easier to install & run, and there is also uDIG from the PostGIS developers. FWIW, OGIS is my preferred PostGIS viewre. Cheers, Brent Wood
