[postgis-users] PostGIS support in Berkeley DB?

Hi all,

I have been doing a project and using Berkeley DB. It dawned on me that 
I would be able to use it for a lot of other projects if it had postGIS 
support or at least support for spatial indexing. Has anyone thought 
about or looked into if it is possible to add spatial indexes into it. 
Much of the rest would be supported via just using the GEOS library.
