I believe OGR2OGR might support GPX as well, though haven't tried it.
Hope that helps,

Subject: [postgis-users] import export gpx data
Hi All,
Excuse me if this question is already asked but I'm struggling with it for a
long time.
I would like to know how to import and export data from and to the gpx data
format. The equipment I use stores tracks in gpx files. These files have to
be stored in PosGis. At the moment the only way I know is convert it to
shape en then convert it to PG. This one way method doesn't seem right to
me.
Thanks,
Ge
