[postgis-users] postgis1.4.0 installation errors on pgsql8.4.. Solution

Hi,
I succeeded in installing postgis1.4.0 on pgsql8.4.
The readme.txt for postgis1.4.0 installation on pgsql8.4 may be modified
if possible as follows.
Steps to be changed are shown below.

 1) Copy the contents of this folder into C:\Program
 Files\PostgreSQL\8.4 or where you have installed
This step may be
1)Copy the contents of this folder postgis1.4.0  C:\Program
 Files\PostgreSQL\8.4 , Bin contents--> C:\Program
 Files\PostgreSQL\8.4\Bin, Lib contents --> to C:\Program
 Files\PostgreSQL\8.4\Lib
 The folder postgis1.4.0 may be copied to C:\Program
 Files\PostgreSQL\8.4.


4) "C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.4\bin\psql" -p 5432
 -U postgres -d template_postgis14 -f "C:\Program
 Files\PostgreSQL\8.4\share\contrib\postgis\postgis.sql"

Change the above path as the new folder postgis1.4.0 just copied 
has a path C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.4\postgis1.4.0

This step may be
4) "C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.4\bin\psql" -p 5432
 -U postgres -d template_postgis14 -f "C:\Program
 Files\PostgreSQL\8.4\postgis1.4.0\postgis\postgis.sql"
