Actually myself and some users I personally know use PostGIS on GISVM on a daily base, and we are very happy with it!

Yes, I know it is allowed, but this doesn't mean you have to. Well, I already regret the reply I sent because it isn't worth mentioning on this great mailinglist. Still, I think gisvm isn't worth paying for.... now I really stop nagging :-)
