Hmmm it's not bad, although totally wrong in a couple of critical places.

For example, feeding --prefix into configure won't do anything in 1.4 
and you shouldn't extract the source tarball in the target installation 
directory - you compile externally and PGXS automagically copies the 
files to the right places on "make install".
