[postgis-users] shortest path

Hi,

i'm starting with postgis and i'm looking for a "shortest path" good
algorithm... right now i'm looking at pgRouting
(http://pgrouting.postlbs.org) and pgRoute (http://www.pgroute.org
this one is in spanish)... any other some one can suggest?

AFAIU, in both projects i need a edges table (seems like the roads
table)... but for the table to be real it should be a table containing
the edge between one intersection and another, right?

so the edges table should be generated with a query like:
