[postgis-users] Tool for distributed Database

Hey ..
Can you plzz tell me tool supported by postgresql for distributed database.
I want to partition my spatial data and want to store the data in different
machine..and then my Query should go to both database and should return
union of result..
Is Pgpool-II is useful?? if yes then how??
will be thankful ...plz help
