Hi,

The Amazon service only provides you a cloud infrastructure and some
prebuilt disk images (called AMIs) based on several OS, like Ubuntu.
Community provides their own AMIs too. OpenGeo AMI is an example.

So, if you want to use pgRouting, you can use an AMI that provides
that software preinstalled (I don't know if exist, maybe in
http://alestic.com/), or you can install it by yourself in an existent
AMI. I'm using a basic Ubuntu 10.10 AMI provided by Canonical and I've
installed PostGIS on it.
