Hi Sandro,
I think it is possible to add support for topology entities. I did just
quick look on your good topology work at the time when You announced it.

Currently, all functions are created to support any data types (geometry
or non-geometry). There is no postgis-specific code, because it is not
needed now.

Maybe some quick code review from experienced hacker like You would be
very valuable for this project. I would incorporate Your comments.
