[postgis-users] Trouble adding Postgis 1.5.3 layer to QGis

Did this step include sourcing the postgis.sql coming with postgis 1.5.3 ?
This is where the CAST should be installed.
Do you have the file still around  ? The CAST should look like this:

CREATE CAST (box2d AS geometry) WITH FUNCTION geometry(box2d) AS IMPLICIT;
