Authors often blogging about PostGIS (like Paul and Regina) could concentrate their post about PostGIS there. We could accept occasional posts from advanced users and repost posts made by others. That would be a kind of one-stop blog for PostGIS. We could name it "The PostGIS Blog".

We could also make clear promotional add type boxes to the respective authors' organizations.

FWIW, I'd advocate for an aggregator rather than a multi-author blog.
Something like planet.postgresql.org. That way authors could easily
have their posts crossposted to multiple places (e.g. both a "planet
postgis" and "planet postgresql" and their own corporate site and
whatever else they might want) without having to post more than
once...
But I don't blog about postgis much, so I'd say those that do carry
more weight :)
