Check the version of pgAdmin you are running .   I complained about this
when we had geography and they fixed it back then around 1.10 I think.

I just checked on my 1.16 and geometry shows geometry(pointz,4326) if I
expand the table, select from the table or look at the create table
definition.

Though it does show geometry(1107458) on the properties display so perhaps
they did not fix it everywhere.

It has to do with how they render typmod types.
