[postgis-users] How to install Postgresql + Postgis 2.0 on Ubuntu 12-04 LTS

Jose,

Be sure to install geos and postgis in the usr directory on
 your Ubuntu box, and make sure that libxml2 is there too. I spent all day yesterday trying to do exactly what 
you're trying to do. The wiki link procedure sent by the previous poster worked for me.
