[postgis-users] import .ecw into postgis database ?

Pierre, please read the following message when i try ro import into my db a
.ecw file thanks to raster2pgsql:

So it seems my raster2pgsql can't load ecw file. 


For information, i succeed last year in compiling gdal svn version for
another objective. So i know how to compile gdal svn thanks to visual
studio. But is it usefull in this case? 

Could you throw light for me please?
