[postgis-users] Ubuntu installation guide - review?

Hi, Matthew.
Thanks for your guide.
I follow it on Ubuntu 12.04.
But I dont' understand why
at the end,
after postgis and postgres installation,
when I run
sudo apt get install qgis,
the apt get try to remove libgdal1, postgis postgresql-9.3-postgis-2.1
