[postgis-users] Question about the best data type to store coverages of point with her values

Dear all,

I have data for each 15 minutes of 300 static points (only one numeric 
attribute).

At this moment i have 2 tables: one with locations and her descriptions 
and other with value, timestamp and relation attribute with location table.

I have seen geomval data type that appear to be an option, but this data 
type have not support in geometry output, accessor, etc. functions.

What may be the best storage option to handle a timestamp slice with 
pairs of location and attribute values handle as a geometry collection, 
etc...
