[postgis-users] Postgis Update from 2.4 to 3.0

Hi,


We used and had postgis24 installed:

postgis24_96-client-2.4.8-5.rhel7.x86_64
postgis24_96-2.4.8-5.rhel7.x86_64
pgrouting_96-2.6.2-1.rhel7.x86_64
ogr_fdw96-1.0.8-1.rhel7.x86_64


After an Linux update postgis30 packages were installed:

postgis30_96-client-3.0.1-5.rhel7.x86_64
postgis30_96-3.0.1-5.rhel7.x86_64
pgrouting_96-3.0.0-rc1_2.rhel7.x86_64
ogr_fdw96-1.0.9-1.rhel7.x86_64


Afaik, we must do an "alter extension postgis update" now.


QUESTION: Is an update to postgis30 that easy? Could there be any problems?
