[postgis-users] function soundex(text) does not exist

We tried to use soundex in where clause, but kept getting the following
error.

ERROR: function soundex(text) does not exist LINE 1:
...(pao_start_number,pao_end_number,1) as index) or (soundex(fu... ^ HINT:
No function matches the given name and argument types. You might need to
add explicit type casts. SQL state: 42883 Character: 495

Can anyone enlighten me?
