Maciek,
What Gerald needs are some correct transformation results or examples. In
other words he needs points with the proper latitiude and longitude in
degrees-minutes-seconds-and decimal parts of seconds to at least 0.001
along with the corresponding X and Y coordinates of the same points to a
precision of at least 1 millimeter. Preferably he would like a number of
points, all in one zone (identified by you as to which one), and these
points would be in increasing distances from the projection origin.
Those distances would preferably be 10 km, 100 km, 200 km, etc. up to say,
500 km from the zone origin.
With the EXACT coordinates for each point in latitude and longitude as well
as X and Y coordinates he can check and verify his algorithm, the False
Origin arithmetic, and the "round-trip" repeatablity of his subroutines.
If possible, he'd also like the computed scale factor at the point as well
as the convergence angle or grivation (angle between Grid North and True
North for each of the points provided). This sort of information is easily
supplied by a government geodesist if they are inclined to assist and
cooperate.

they are reversed in, AFAIK, all Polish grids (there are 5 kinds of them or
so)

I have no experience - is it much or not?

tell me how to do this benchmark
