[Proj] wgs84 northings and eastings

It sounds as though your requester may not be knowledgeable about the
terminology.  I recommend providing both latitude/longitude and
utmzone/easting/northing.

GeographicLib's GeoConvert can do the conversion for you as in

echo 45N 75W | GeoConvert -u
18N 500000 4982950

(GeoConvert is pre-wired for WGS84.)
