[PROJ] Creating projection *not* from full init string?

Matthew,

The PROJ project has a code of conduct [0] that everyone who engages with
the community is expected to follow. If you can’t subscribe to the standards
explained in the CoC I suggest you take you problems elsewhere.

We are generally very happy to help users of PROJ solve their problems but
not at the cost of being talked down to. Try to find a bit of humbleness and
accept that maybe things are complicated for a reason other than making your
life difficult.

Well, excuse me for being just a *touch* frustrated. You've sent three messages now without actually answering my question, and I'm trying to move to an API that seems to have gone out of its way to be deliberately difficult to use (compared to its predecessor).
