[pycsw-devel] pycsw: Mapping to an existing okfn/ckan repository

Hi Daniel: Angelos is correct per below.

pycsw's model/db mapping implementation is designed to work against either db columns or a domain model as is done for GeoNode and Open Data Catalog.

When CKAN implementation is completed, CSW support will be as easy as turning on pycsw and the rest will be seamless in exposing your CKAN instance as CSW.

I imagine that there should be movement on this starting this month, and we will keep this list updated on development, as well as how / where to contribute to development, testing and so on.
